Villa Manuk ‘Batu’
Each floor of the two-storey house offers a very well furnished sleeping room with an “open-air” bathroom (shower with warm water).
Each room has a spacious terrace with a spectacular view to rice fields and the beautiful surrounding. Both rooms are similar, the one in the second floor has a dining corner and a daybed with mosquito-net, the one in the ground floor also has a dining corner and a bambu couch set.
The open kitchen is located 3 m behind the vacation house. Lunch and dinner serves traditional North Balinese meals. The philosophy of the German Indonesian owners supports environmental friendly and Balinese products and eco-tourism and will love to give you special information and tips about North Bali.
The housekeeper is available for the most part of the day. He takes care of the vacation house, arranges your meals, tours, etc.

Spring water swimming-pool
The swimming pool has natural spring water running through and is free of chlorine and other chemicals. Its size is 10,5 m x 4 m.
Please note that once a week we have to empty the pool for general cleaning and therefore the pool cannot be used on this day.
Kampung Spa
In our Kampung Spa we can offer you special treatments from Samadhi Spa and traditional Balinese Massage from our well trained masseuse Ketut.
"Resto Cenik" Villa Manuk
Our "Resto Cenik" which means "Mini-Restaurant" serves you a great breakfast with self-made bread, jams, cheese, yoghurt, oats, eggs, pancakes or black-rice pudding, fruits and juices. You are also welcome to order some other traditional local dishes.
If you want we serve you a light lunch like vegetarian Nasi or Mie Goreng, or some fresh harvested vegetables from our organic farm local cooked with different "bumbus".
To offer you a special Dining experience you can order in advance with our team your meals which will be delivered from the well known Warung Bambu Pemaron.
Organically cultivated vegetables, spices & medical plants, environmental protection
Since Juli 2009 we cultivate our gardens following permaculture guidelines. We do not use conventional pesticides but only approved ones for organic farming such as neem-oil. Furthermore we use our own compost, mineral powder and cow manure.
Since November 2010 we are growing our own organic vegetables, spices, fruits and rice on nearly 1 hectar of farmland, just a short walk from Villa Manuk. The harvest we use for our restaurant Warung Bambu Pemaron and for Villa Manuk.
The waste waters from Villa Manuk Bambu and the kitchen are cleaned by waster water garden systems. We only use low energy light bulbs.
We bring our garbage regulary to the official landfill in Bengkala/Singaraja and train our staff and the childen of the Manuksesa Childrenprojekt in terms of waste reduction, disposal and recycling. We do regular clean-ups in the village and buy the plastic waste which is collected by the village children.
With our organic farming we want to show the farmers in this area an alternative to the conventional farming.
